Nine Lives Closet started the way most good things do; a
happenstance idea born from a love of cats and high fashion.

I've had cats my whole life. I know what people think about cats too -they’re cold,
aloof, indifferent; and sure, sometimes they can be but that's not the full
picture. Cats don't love you simply because you exist. They love you because you proved you were WORTH their time.

Based out of Toronto, we build premium apparel for people with excellent taste
who also (smartly) happen to love cats. The goal is simple: clothing that looks
and feels high fashion while wearing its love of cats proudly.

The brand is a two-person operation. One of us brings the obsession with concept and execution. The other has the fashion sense that keeps everything from going off the rails. Between us and one beautifully emerald-eyed grey tabby, the Nine Lives Closet was born.

We run two lines. Meow & Chiao is the fun one -streetwear built for people who don’t take themselves too seriously.

La Purr is for the person who loves fashion and happens to love cats. Purrmes. Furrberry. Meowlenciaga. The most iconic fashion houses in the world, reimagined through the lens of a cat who considers haute couture a reasonable baseline
